5th Annual CVJPC Junior Prospect Show

Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 – Cleveland County Fairgrounds, 615 E. Robinson St., Norman, OK

Entry Deadline  on both shows is May 23rd (postmark), No Exceptions!

Check-In – Friday evening 5:00 pm-9:00 pm, Saturday Morning 7:00 am until 830 am

Judging Begins: 10:00 am.

Schedule:

9:15 am – Pointers and Advice on Junior Showmanship by Richard Peters and Jimmy Guibert.

9:30 am – Jr Showmanship Contest (Divisions will be determined at check-in)

10:oo am – Prospect Show Judging Begins (Judges- Jimmy Guibert, John McDaniel, TBA)

10:00 am – Invitational Open Show & ALFA Show Begins (Richard Peters- Judge & others TBA)

11:30 am – Chicken Dance followed by awards.

12:00 NOON- Pizza Party, $5.00 donation per person or $15.00 per family. All Donations Welcome.

1:30 PM- Barry Whitworth, OSU Extension Vet, Area Food/Animal/ Quality & Health Specialist. Mr Whitworth will be availabale most of the day to answer any questions yu may have in regards to your animal health concerns.

2:30 PM – Speaker – Blake Bell, KS – A Junior’s Prospective on  the Feeding, Selection, Breeding, Hatching, Conditioning and Showing of Exhibition Poultry.

3:30 PM – Raffle

4:30 pm – Junior Awards Presentation

 

Show Information –

Competition- Jr Prospect Show – Chicks will be divided evenly between age groups and then placed.

Competition- Open Invitational Show – Regular APA & ABA Classes for all birds.

ALFA competition – Judging by ALFA Show Committee. ALFA Members Only.

MEGA Medals, Large Medals, Ribbons, Rosettes, Plaques
